For what you pay, this is an excellent community to live in with good amenities and friendly staff. Management teams and the leasing office employees have changed over quite a bit in my 3 years, but they always have a solid team who are friendly and good at taking care of your needs. Maintenance crew is prompt in taking care of requests and are always courteous and respectful. For my student budget, it was the perfect 1 bedroom: close to Mines and cheap enough to live without roommates. I only moved because my job relocated me, but would definitely recommend ascend at red rocks for anyone looking for a nice quiet apasrtment in Lakewood!
*after seeing the low ratings of some other tenants, I would say take those 1 stars with a grain if salt. This isn't the ritz, but people always have champagne taste and beer budget. People have one mildly inconveniencing experience and drop their rating from 5 stars to 1 star, which I would say is indicated by the lack of 3 star ratings. (Heavier weighted on the extremes of very good/very bad ratings). They're the same people that probably got evicted because they couldn't pay their rent.
